Community Assets and the Future of Community-Led Housing in Wales

Following a Senedd Inquiry and subsequent report on the subject of Community Assets, which included in its recommendations a call for specific support for community-led housing, we are pleased to welcome Minister for Climate Change, Julie James MS, to an online breakfast briefing on the subject.

Attendees will hear directly from the Minister as she responds to the Senedd Local Government and Housing Committee’s report and discusses what this means for community-led housing in Wales. The Minister will be joined by a panel whose views and experiences (including reports from both Cwmpas and the Institute for Welsh Affairs) have shaped the discussion around access to community assets in Wales, to date.
