The Digital Confidence Powys project has now ended

The Digital Confidence Powys project has now ended as of December 31st 2024. This project was funded through the Shared Prosperity Fund and aimed to break down barriers hindering residents of Powys from engaging with the digital world by offering them a suite of direct digital inclusion interventions.

Digital Confidence Powys supported Powys citizens directly offering a range of drop-in sessions, workshops, and essential skills courses. These included sessions on online safety, shopping safely online, history and reminiscence, online health and wellbeing resources, basic tablet and computer familiarisation and social media awareness. The Digital Confidence Powys team coordinated workshop delivery with community stakeholders, including social housing, local authority, libraries, the third sector and local groups that have a digital inclusion need.

Here’s what those who attended a workshop had to say about their experience:

“Very instructive and helpful. Helped my confidence.”
