Cwmpas Achieves Green Dragon Level 3 Certification
We’re proud to announce that Cwmpas has been awarded Level 3 Green Dragon Environmental Standard, a UKAS accredited recognition of our commitment to managing environmental impacts in a sustainable and measurable way.
What is Green Dragon?
Green Dragon is a Wales designed, five level environmental management standard run by Groundwork Wales. It helps organisations to:
- understand and manage their environmental responsibilities,
- plan and take action,
- check progress, and
- review performance
With each level representing a deeper commitment. Level 3 signifies that Cwmpas is now formally managing environmental impacts with systems in place to reduce our footprint.
Why it matters
Achieving Level 3 isn’t just a plaque on the wall—it’s recognition that we’re taking real, tangible steps to reduce energy use, waste, pollution and carbon emissions. Cwmpas are now equipped for continuous improvement.
What we’re doing
Under Level 3, we have:
- Evaluated our environmental impacts—from office energy and travel to resource use.
- Set targets and monitoring systems to measure and reduce those impacts.
- Raised awareness across our team, embedding environmental checks into everyday work.
- Created action plans to tackle waste, energy use, and emissions.
